This
post is never a comment on the RGNUL administration or the system prevailing
there. After I wrote in Bar & Bench about some issues prevailing in RGNUL;
one person was kind enough to send me a copy of the Hostel Rules.
The
person has conveyed to me that though there are some unpleasant norms in these
rules; all of them are not strictly followed. The same situation or may be even
worse will probably be prevailing in other Universities. The attempt through
this post is to open up a platform to generate a debate on larger issues
involved.
